The new East Riding Leisure facility in Haltemprice is now fully open following a complete redevelopment. The project was designed by LEDA who seeked the expertise of Tryka to deliver a truly dynamic lighting experience for their design. Two new spinning rooms were introduced which required RGBW colour change lighting to complete the rooms, whilst also allowing the instructor to easily set the lighting depending on which exercise or class they were conducting. The lights can also be set to match the beat of the music using sound to light technology. Throughout the main gym areas, a total of 175 Tryka LED Troffer Panels have been installed within the grid ceiling. There was a requirement for a large number of these to be finished in black to match the colour of the ceiling, which demonstrated Tryka’s ability to customise standard luminaires into any bespoke finish the customer wishes. The project was installed by GW Powersafe and the DALI and DMX controls were programmed by Tryka.
