Built in 1754, Liverpool Town Hall is a Grade I listed building with stunning architectural features, including a sculptural dome decorated with lions and unicorns and walls adorned in murals which showcase the city’s history. Liverpool Council wanted to replace the existing exterior lighting with a colour-changing solution to beautifully enhance the dramatic Victorian architecture. Tryka provided Strip Module and Aura 7 RGBW luminaires, strategically placed to highlight roof features and towers. The dynamic, colour-changing lighting was controlled via a ShowCAD system. The new lighting allows the Council to seamlessly reflect the cultural heritage of Liverpool through lighting, whilst also celebrating national and worldwide events with dynamic colour changing effects.
